Pasco Regional Medical Center Announces New CEO
Gary W. Lang has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of Pasco Regional Medical Center (PRMC). Lang held this same position at Walton Regional Medical Center, an HMA facility, in Monroe, Georgia and replaces former CEO, Stan Holm, who accepted an opportunity with another HMA hospital in Oklahoma.
Lang was deeply involved in the Monroe community during his two-plus years as CEO. He served as chairman of the One Walton Committee of the Walton Chamber of Commerce and vice chairman of the sponsorship committee. He was set to be chairman of the Chamber in 2011. Lang also served as the Pacesetters campaign chairman for United Way of Walton County and was a member of the Rotary Club of Monroe.
Lang holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science in Hospital and Health Administration fromthe University of Alabama in Birmingham.
He has assumed his leadership role with Pasco Regional Medical Center on March 15, 2010. He and his wife Trevette, plan to live in Dade City. “Trevette and I are excited about the move to Dade City.” said Lang. “I look forward to being part of the great things happening in this community. I am proud to join a team of medical professionals at Pasco Regional Medical Center who remain focused on providing the highest quality of care and customer service possible.”
