The Teams Are Ready. It’s The 9-Mile War. Are You Ready For Some Football?

It’s finally here and it’s at Bulldog Stadium. The 9-mile war between the Zephyrhills Bulldogs and the Pasco Pirates tonight begins a new chapter in book that has had 54 entries with Pasco leading the series 37 – 16. But as the saying goes, you can throw out the record books on this one. It all comes down to heart. The talent is there and the Bulldogs would like to take a big chomp out of the undefeated Pirates and make them walk the plank right back to Dade City. The fans will be there, it’s senior night and it’s going to be a crisp, cool night. This is perfect weather for football. Win or lose, these are kids and both teams will be playing their hearts out for bragging rights and a chance to advance in the playoffs. Looking forward to seeing you there.

And Then There Were Two

Homecoming is over and you couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. The Bulldogs beat the Ridgewood Rams 49 – 0, a new king and queen were crowned and the freshmen class, yes the freshmen class won the best float in the Homecoming parade. In addition, the ZHS band with alumni members joining in had an awesome lights out show. The Bulldogs and the Pirates remain unbeaten in district competition with only a couple  more games left. It was a magical night at ZHS. This community is awesome!!!

Bulldogs Continue To Improve Under Second Year Head Coach Reggie Roberts

The Zephyrhills Bulldogs took on the Hudson Cobra’s Friday night at home and defeated them 43 – 0.  They are now 2 – 0 in district  play. We are seeing and feeling a more disciplined and more confident team. This community always stands ready to support the team win or lose and by the look of things Bulldog Stadium should be packed this Friday night as we take on Gulf High School with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.  At the beginning of the game there will be a combined band with ZHS and Gulf joining forces with a patriotic intro before the game. We are very fortunate to have a community that is this close knit and I appreciate, as you to be a part of it.
