Zephyrhills Police Explorers At Halloween Howl

The Zephyrhills Police Explorers will take part in  the ghoulish downtown festivities that will be taking place during the Halloween Howl and Cruise-In on Saturday, October 24th with the dunk tank. See if you can soak your favorite person. They will also have popcorn and drink sales under the Explorer tent along with patrolling the activities for the evening in historic downtown Zephyrhills from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For more information contact Lori Tindall at 813-783-6241.

Street Life To Perform At Halloween Howl/Cruise-In

Street Life will perform at Main Street Zephyrhills’ Halloween Howl on Saturday, October 23 immediately following the conclusion of the children’s costume parade. The band plays tunes from the 50’s to today’s hits in virtually all genres of music. Halloween Howl is an annual family-friendly street event which is hosted by Main Street Zephyrhills, Inc. on 5th Avenue in Downtown Zephyrhills. This year’s festivities will take place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Main Street-hosted Car Cruise-In will take place (from 4-8) concurrently with Halloween Howl in the Downtown Area. Many local businesses will offer candy to trick-or-treaters. Costumed super heros will be on hand to join in the fun. Children can participate in the Halloween costume parade. Throughout the celebration, the bandstand will showcase many talented performers who will presented to the crowd by the ever-charismatic and enthusiastic emcee Dr. Dr. Thayer of WZHR. Goin’ Postal will be hosting a free treasure hunt where youngsters can dig for buried treasure such as gold coins, pirate swords, faux gemstone rings, glistening bead necklaces, and more! And be sure to bring your camera as GP will also offer free photo opportunities with Peter Pan, Wendy, Tiger Lily, Captain Hook and his pirate pals, Tinkerbelle, The Crocodile, The Lost Boys, Smee, and other costumed characters from Neverland!
