Bulldogs Win 9 Mile War…uh, Blood War

bloodnet-logo2[1]Two local high schools held blood drives this week.  The first was Pasco High School held on Thursday, October 22nd. 126 kids and staff showed up to donate blood and show the Pirate colors of Red and Black. The next day was Zephyrhills High School and the line was drawn in the sand as the Bulldog students, faculty and staff stepped up and registered 191 blood donors. True Bulldogs bleed Orange and Black.  Hey, here is a fact.  If one donation can help up to 3 patients in need the combined blood drives have the potential of helping nearly 1000 patients at area hospitals.  With all of the talk about kids today, these future leaders really stepped it up to help save lives.  On behalf of the patients in need I want to thank each and every person that showed up to this great community event.  Thank you.
