Bulldogs and Pirates Could Be Headed To A District Championship Showdown

OK, so here is the scenario. The Bulldogs will be traveling to Fivay High School and the Pirates will be traveling to Ridgewood High School tonight and if the Bulldogs and the Pirates win it will be a matchup of the two undefeated teams in District 5A-6 competition at Bulldog Stadium in Zephyrhills next Friday night. We will be following both games and will report back with the scores later tonight  as they come in.  Click on the link at the top of this page, “High School Scores” for the latest in scores that affect this area. The 2nd Annual Pigz in Z’Hills BBQ & Blues

It has finally arrived. The 2nd Annual Pigz in Z’Hills BBQ & Blues is at Krusen Field in Zephyrhills on Saturday, October 29 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Krusen Field is located at the corner of 20th St and Alston Ave. Several exciting Blues bands are on the lineup including The Time Bandits from 11 -1, Cold Iron from 1:30 – 3:30 and Julie Black from 4 – 5 and 6 – 8. Many other activities are scheduled including  The Kidzone, Classic Car Show, Bloodmobile and of course that wonderful BBQ. This is a sanctioned event by the Florida BBQ Association. There will be 26 professional teams and 13 back yard competitors. This is going to be a fun family day. For more information go to http://zephyrhillschamber.org

THE 9-MILE WAR BEGINS A WEEK EARLY AT JARRETT FORD. It’s “Drive One 4 UR School”, Friday, Oct 28th and Saturday, Oct 29th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Test drive a Ford at the event and Ford Motor Company will donate $20. to Zephyrhills or Pasco High School. You choose which school will get the money. In addition, hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks are free. Test  drive a new Ford, have lunch and make money for your school. The dealership is located at 38300 Dick Jarrett Way on the U.S. 98 By-Pass in Dade City.
