Music and Motorcycles Coming To Z’Hills On March 22, 2014

Main Street Zephyrhills, Inc. presents Music & Motorcycles from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in downtown Zephyrhills along 5th Ave—just east of US HWY 301 (38434 5th Ave, Zephyrhills, FL 33542).  A live band will perform from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.  The event features a 10-class ride-in bike show.  Bike show registration is from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and costs $10 per bike, per class.  Trophies will be presented at 8:30 p.m. Lots of merchandise and food vendors and Main Street restaurants will be available.  16-ounce aluminum long necks sold by Main Street Zephyrhills for only $3 each can be enjoyed throughout the event perimeter.  Motorcycles can park on the south side of 5th Ave in the heart of the event.  Born to Ride will be here doing a TV taping and magazine shoot.  Radical Randy is the Master of Ceremonies.  Come party in downtown Zephyrhills.  Check our website www.mszi.org for more details and event layout maps closer to the date. National Night Out is Tuesday October 4th From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

National Night Out is a unique crime/drug prevention event which provides an opportunity for citizens, community groups, law enforcement and local officials to get out, meet, greet and discuss local issues. Some of the vendors include:  ZPD vehicles, K9, ZHS S.A.D.D. Club, Dade City Police Dept, Meth Truck from DEA, Smokey the Bear and many other vendors that have an impact on youth and families in this area.

Live entertainment will be provided by Steel Of The Night, a Caribbean style steel drum band. Also, kids games and food vendors will be on hand.

National Night Out is presented by the Zephyrhills Police Department and Main Street Zephyrhills and will be on Tuesday, October 4th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. All of the action is on 5th Avenue, Downtown Zephyrhills. Please make plans for your whole family to attend.

101st Zephyrhills Founders’ Day Celebration And Parade On Saturday

“Back To The Future” is the theme for the 101st Zephyrhills Founders’ Day Celebration this Saturday, March 12,2011 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The huge parade gets underway at 10:00 a.m. in downtown Zephyrhills. Lot’s of family activities will be going on all day including a Rotary BBQ Chicken Fundraiser and CF Industries Employee BBQ Pork Fundraiser. Live entertainment will be featured from Noon to 4:00 p.m. There will be lot’s of kid’s games and activities like bounce houses, hayride, petting zoo, carnival games, face painting and pony rides. A bloodmobile will be on site during the day and Florida Hospital Zephyrhills will be offering free health screenings. Merchandise and Food vendors will be lining the streets. In addition, you will have a chance to win several great door prizes. Friday and Saturday between 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. a Fine Arts Show and Sale will be taking place at the Alice Hall Community Center at Zephyr Park. Come out and support the efforts of Main Street Zephyrhills as Zephyrhills comes alive for this once a year community event.

Jennifer Crain Named New Main Street Zephyrhills Director

The word is out!  Congratulations to Jennifer Crain who was named the new Executive Director of the Main Street Zephyrhills  program. Jennifer has been very active with this program and will do well leading this organization to the next level. Jennifer will be replacing Brenda Welcher who is now working in the marketing department for Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. Judy Taylor has also been named Assistant Director of the program. She has also been very involved in the Main Street program and brings much experience.  Congrats Jennifer & Judy!

Zephyrhills Police & Main Street Zephyrhills National Night Out Is Coming

The Zephyrhills Police & Main Streeet Zephyrhills National Night Out event will be located on 5th Ave in Downtown Zephyrhills from  5:00–9:00 P.M. on Aug 3. Lot’s of fun and excitement is in store!

Zephyrhills Police and Zephyrhills Main Street are hosting the local National Night Out event. Zephyrhills will join thousands of communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide. Worldwide, over 36 million people are expected to participate in the event this year.

The National Night Out event offers an extraordinary opportunity for citizens, community groups, law enforcement and local officials to get out, meet, greet and discuss local issues.

Zephyrhills National Night Out will be located on 5th Ave and will run from 5:00 P.M – 9:00 P.M. Food vendors, exciting entertainment and children’s activities/games will be part of the event.
