The Zephyrhills Bulldogs won big against the Anclote Sharks by a score of 41 – 14 at Bulldog Stadium. It was also Homecoming and the festivities took center stage before the game and at halftime. If that wasn’t enough the ZHS Bulldog Band performed their annual “Lights Out” show after the game. ZHS will be taking on arch rival the Pasco Pirates next Friday night at Bulldog Stadium. I am thinking that the place will be packed. Here are some other scores of interest.

Bulldogs Win At First Home Game Of The Season

zhs alumni

The Zephyrhills Bulldogs won big time against Fivay High School 69 – 25. It was the first home game of the season. ZHS Athletics and ZHS Cheerleading also won because local Zephyrhills car dealer Thomas And Son decided to put up $100 for every touchdown scored at all home games. It is called the Thomas and Son Touchdown. At the first game ZHS already banked $1000 going into next week’s game against Hudson which is at Bulldog Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. Also at tonight’s game life long resident, coach, teacher and friend to many Arthur “Skip” Riley was recognized and a moment of silence was held. Skip passed away in May of this year. In addition also recognized was ZHS Athletic Director Bruce Cimorelli’s mom Mary who was laid to rest earlier that day in Bushnell.
