Highland Fling happening this weekend at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival!

TAMPA, Fla., (Feb. 2020) – Channel your inner Scot at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival on Highland Fling Weekend, February 21st and 22nd.

Keep your head low and be mindful of flying logs during the Annual Highland Games. Watch as the burliest Men in Florida toss everything but the kitchen sink as a test of true Highlander might. Events will include the Caber Toss, the Stone Throw, the Sheaf Toss and much more.

For lads with more beauty than beast, we implore you to put your charms to the test during the Men in Kilts competition. Scotsmen and simple folk alike can strut their stuff at the feet of the Queen herself in a bid to be deemed the best-kilted lad.

Be sure to check out the only All Female Pipe and Drum Band in the Country, Blue Sky Pipes and Drum and the talented taps of Margaret Morrison’s Highland Dancers.

Test your puzzle solving skills to escape the Castle in the All New Escape Room. Play Viking Games, learn about Viking Lore or watch the Viking Battles in the All New Viking Encampment. Get your picture taken in the Pit of Misery or become a Dungeon Master during Dungeons and Dragons Free Play.

Kegs N Eggs will be returning to the grounds of the Bay Area Renaissance Festival this April. The event will feature Craft Beer Tastings, Food Trucks, Live Entertainment and an Adult Egg Hunt! Search the grounds of the Bay Area Renaissance Festival for your chance at more than $75,000 in Prizes. More information is available at www.KegsnEggs.com
