The Bay Area Renaissance Is Coming To Tampa at MOSI February 15th – April 4th

The Village of Fittleworth is a 16th Century European village located in Tampa at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) featuring 12 stages with live entertainment. Over 100 artisans fill the Festival marketplace to display and sell their handcrafted wares for a truly unique shopping experience. Patrons can interact with hundreds of memorable characters roaming the village streets as well as view live armored jousting throughout the day. The festival runs February 15th – March 29 on Saturday’s and Sundays. Festival Friday this year is March 27th. The Kegs and Eggs event will be on April 4th. Come Celebrate The Biggest St. Paddy’s Day Party This Weekend At The Bay Area Renaissance Festival.

Irish Culture is on full display on March 16th and 17th, marvel at the talented Irish dancers, test your stomach in the Mashed Potato Eating Contest, or show off your best kilt in the Men in Kilts Competition.

Be sure to check out the encore performance of the Irish Heavy Games. Watch as Athletes compete in feats of strength like the 22lb Stone Throw or the crowd favorite Caber Toss.

On March 16th the Festival will feature a St. Patrick’s Day Extravaganza. Patrons in attendance will receive FREE Admission into an After Hours Party featuring the Bawdy Boys, Bocca Musica and Tartatrum, games, beer and more!

Be sure to check out our newest attractions! Dress up and visit the Game of Thrones Pub, pet the living unicorn, test your resilience on the climbing wall, shake hands with a giant puppet, and thrill to the aerial act overhead while grabbing a Bloody Mary and throwing axes at the Battle Axe Pub.

The Bay Area Renaissance Festival is a first-class experience whose 41st season began on February 16, 2019 and ends on March 31, 2019.  The Festival is open weekends and Friday March 29, 2019 from 10 am – 6 pm rain or shine.  Admission at the gate: Adults $21.95; Children 5-12 $13.95; four and under are free!   Discount tickets are available at participating Circle K locations or online atwww.BayAreaRenFest.com
