Pasco Education Foundation Brings “Savvy Senior Series” To Zephyrhills In March

The Pasco Education Foundation, Inc will host a “Savvy Senior Series” in March. This program is being expanded into the Zephyrhills area.. The “Savvy Seniors Series” is an informational forum for adults ages 55 and older with a passion for education.

On Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm at the New River Library in  Zephyrhills the program will feature District School Board of Pasco County Superintendent of Schools, Mrs. Heather Fiorentino and Mr. Steve Athanassie, CFP, AIF, President of Trademark Capital, Inc.

Superintendent Heather Fiorentino will present “Pasco Shines,” highlighting the remarkable academic and operational success the School District has recently achieved.  The Superintendent will share how Pasco’s team of dedicated professional educators are working together to ensure that all children reach their highest potential.

Mr. Steve Athanassie, will highlight strategies to “Make Sure You Don’t Outlive Your Retirement Income.” Widely respected for his financial acumen, Mr. Athanassie has been quoted in USA Today, Business Week, the St. Petersburg Times, the Tampa Tribune, Mutual Fund Magazine, and Financial Planning Magazine. He has appeared on Bay News 9, WFLA News Channel 8, WFTS Action News, WTVT Fox 13 News and is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Estate Planning Council, and the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.
