Wine, Romance and Song Coming to Dade City at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival Beginning February 19th.

Join the Villagers of Fittleworth as they invite one and all to the magical 16th Century European village featuring numerous stages of exciting entertainment including: musicians, magicians, jugglers and mimes. Over 100 artisans will fill the Festival marketplace to display and sell their handcrafted goods for a truly fabulous and endless shopping experience. Patrons will interact with memorable characters and enjoy full-contact live armored jousting, 7 theme weekends, and fabulous food fit for a king or queen!

The Bay Area Renaissance Festival has always prided itself on providing a unique shopping experience. Each shop contains handmade wares such as jewelry, pottery, worked wood, leatherwork, paintings, hand-blown glass and fine metal craftsmanship.

Shamrocks and Shenanigans This Weekend At the Bay Area Renaissance Festival in Dade City May 15th & 16th

Transport to Ireland by visiting our Village, where you can find local Irish vendors & fun for all ages. Kick up your heels with traditional Irish music & dance. Got a Kilt? Enter the Men in Kilts contest to discover who can wear it best. This is the largest shenanigans party in Florida!

You are in for a great time and will be talking about this for a long time. Get ready for some Full Contact Live Armored Jousting, Axe Throw, Knight Wings Birds of Prey, Mermaids, Pub Crawl, Unicorn Cake, Largest Rocking Horse and much, much more.

Stop into Wrydwood Viking Lodge for Shield Fighting Demos and Viking Games before making your way to the All New Battle Axe Pub where you can toss axes while sampling delicious craft beers.

Show off your facial follicles during the Beard Competition for a chance to win prizes in four different categories: Longest, Grizzliest, Best Trimmed or Most Unique.

Tampa Archery School brings a chance for competitors to test their aim during the Archery Championships. All participating Archers receive Free Festival Tickets for Entry. 

If you’re not ready for an Archery competition yet, you can still take a shot at your friends at the Robinhood-style bow and arrow game, Bow Blast.

Set Sail with Your Pups to The Bay Area Renaissance Festival!

 

TAMPA, Fla., (Feb. 2020) – Anchors aweigh! The Bay Area Renaissance Festival invites you to bring your furry friends and Pirates Best to Pirates and Pups Fest weekend, February 29^th – March 1^st

Piper’s Valley, the Festival’s special event area, will feature Pet Vendors and Competitions including the Pet Costume Contest and Weiner Dog Races. Local Rescues will also be set up, giving patrons a chance to find a furry friend of their very own.

Back by popular demand this year is Ultimate Air Dogs. Watch as dogs of all sizes participate in a high-flying, Dock Diving Championship.

This weekend marks the first of two Pirate Themed Weekends. Dress to impress for a chance to win prizes during the Perfect Pirate Competition or test your skill in a game of Swab the Deck.

Pirates & Pets at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival Mar 2nd & 3rd

The Bay Area Renaissance Festival theme for this upcoming Saturday and Sunday is Pirates and Pets. Come check out the Pet Festival, Weiner Dog Races, Pet Demonstrations, Pet Costume Contest and Perfect Pirate Contest.

Patrons can interact with hundreds of memorable characters roaming the village streets as well as view live armored jousting throughout the day. Come celebrate our newest season by visiting the Festival grounds this year. Huzzah!

Oh, if you donate blood this weekend at the festival you will get a free ticket and you will help save a life. Also if you bring 4 cans of food to the festival you will receive a BOGO voucher.
