The Bulldogs Defeated Central 56 – 7. Move to 6 – 1 Overall
The Zephyrhills Bulldogs defeated the Central Bears by a score of 56 – 7 during Homecoming at ZHS. The band did their annual Lights Out show after the game. The Dogs travel to Hernando next Friday night with a 7:30 kickoff scheduled.
Bulldogs Win Against Wesley Chapel At Home
The Zephyrhills Bulldogs soundly defeated the Wesley Chapel Wildcats by a score of 45 – 9. They will play at home next Friday, September 5th. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Ryan Pickett, a graduate of ZHS was at the game tonight. He was #79 for the Bulldogs and had the nickname, “Big Grease”.

POPULAR ZHS BULLDOG PLAYER JAMAL ROBERTS SIGNS WITH KENT STATE
Wednesday, February 1, 2012 will go into the history books of Zephyrhills High School as Bulldog Football favorite Jamal Roberts signed with Kent State in the Commons area at ZHS. This is a proud moment and a testimony to his family, teachers, coaches, fellow players, alumi and the Community. Jamal Roberts, by making the right choices and working hard has landed a position as CB/WR with the Golden Flashes. Jamal has some impressive stats: In 2012 he completed 36 of 61 passes for 542 yards and he rushed 107 times for 1030 yards. In 2011 Jamal led the team in receiving with 605 yards and 6 touchdowns. His awards are to numerous to mention on this blog but you can read about it in your favorite media. In addition on Facebook you can go to ZEPHYRHILLS FREE PRESS and see more photos of the signing. The Teams Are Ready. It’s The 9-Mile War. Are You Ready For Some Football?
It’s finally here and it’s at Bulldog Stadium. The 9-mile war between the Zephyrhills Bulldogs and the Pasco Pirates tonight begins a new chapter in book that has had 54 entries with Pasco leading the series 37 – 16. But as the saying goes, you can throw out the record books on this one. It all comes down to heart. The talent is there and the Bulldogs would like to take a big chomp out of the undefeated Pirates and make them walk the plank right back to Dade City. The fans will be there, it’s senior night and it’s going to be a crisp, cool night. This is perfect weather for football. Win or lose, these are kids and both teams will be playing their hearts out for bragging rights and a chance to advance in the playoffs. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Bulldogs and Pirates Could Be Headed To A District Championship Showdown
OK, so here is the scenario. The Bulldogs will be traveling to Fivay High School and the Pirates will be traveling to Ridgewood High School tonight and if the Bulldogs and the Pirates win it will be a matchup of the two undefeated teams in District 5A-6 competition at Bulldog Stadium in Zephyrhills next Friday night. We will be following both games and will report back with the scores later tonight as they come in. THE 9-MILE WAR BEGINS A WEEK EARLY AT JARRETT FORD. It’s “Drive One 4 UR School”, Friday, Oct 28th and Saturday, Oct 29th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Test drive a Ford at the event and Ford Motor Company will donate $20. to Zephyrhills or Pasco High School. You choose which school will get the money. In addition, hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks are free. Test drive a new Ford, have lunch and make money for your school. The dealership is located at 38300 Dick Jarrett Way on the U.S. 98 By-Pass in Dade City.
And Then There Were Two
Homecoming is over and you couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. The Bulldogs beat the Ridgewood Rams 49 – 0, a new king and queen were crowned and the freshmen class, yes the freshmen class won the best float in the Homecoming parade. In addition, the ZHS band with alumni members joining in had an awesome lights out show. The Bulldogs and the Pirates remain unbeaten in district competition with only a couple more games left. It was a magical night at ZHS. This community is awesome!!!

Homecoming Game Tonight Should Put Your Lights Out
The weather is perfect for football. Especially Bulldog football. Tonight is Homecoming as the home team takes on the Ridgewood Rams with a kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The orange and black will be everywhere tonight, the king and queen contestants will make a public debut tonight with all of the pagentry, the homecoming parade winners will be announced and after the game the ZHS Band will be doing their annual “Lights Out” show. This will be a fun night. Come out and support the Bulldogs who are tied for 1st place in the District 5A-6 competition. The stands will be packed so come a little early. Check back later tonight and click on high school scores at the top of this page to get the results of all the games that have an impact on this area. GO BULLDOGS!!!
BULLDOGS MOVE TO 4 – 0 IN DISTRICT COMPETITION
Once again, the ZHS Bulldogs came out of top on Friday night with a win against the Anclote Sharks by a score of 51 – 16. This coming Friday night is Homecoming on October 21st. In addition to a great game and a fun time to get together with family and friends we will get to check out the Bulldog band’s “LIGHTS OUT” show after the game. This always proves to be an awesome show. I would anticipate that the stands will be packed so try and get out a little early.
