Pirates and Pups is the theme this coming Saturday and Sunday, May 1 & 2 at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival at the Withlacoochee River Park in Dade City.

The 2021 Bay Area Renaissance Festival is in full swing at the Withlacoochee River Park in Dade City this weekend. The theme is Pirates & Pups. Bring your dog & pirate pals for our Pirates & Pups weekend! This weekend will showcase pup rescue groups, pup training demonstrations and contests for dogs. Not only are there activities for your pups, but also for you!

Entertainment is in full swing with Equus Nobilis Joust, Johnny Phoenix, The Wheel of Death, Splatter Time Players Mud Show, Acrobellum, The Plant Guy, The Blades of Death, Mermaids and Knight Wings Birds of Prey.

If you are hungry there is all kinds of food and snacks including Unicorn Cheesecake, Corn Dogs, Pretzel Bites and Cheese Sauce, Scotch Eggs, Pizza, Calzones, Dragon Wings, Empanadas, Hot Dogs, Chili Cheese Tots, Fried Ravioli, Pierogies and much more.

If you like to shop you can visit several artisians that will be displaying awesome, unique and some one of a kind items for your pleasure.

The Bay Area Renaissance Festival is located at the Withlacoochee River Park, 12449 Withlacoochee Blvd in Dade City. The hours are 10 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Rain or Shine and parking is always Free.

Highland Fling this weekend April 24 & 25 at Bay Area Renaissance Festival in Dade City

The Highland Games will have you cheering for your favorite athlete in this 8 series event. Championships on Saturday and State Masters on Sunday. Don’t forget to attend the Men in Kilts contest to see who can sport the best kilt. 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Rain or Shine and Parking is FREE.

The Bay Area Renaissance Festival is relocating to the spectacular, ancient forest of Withlacoochee River Park. Please join us as we partner with Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources for a once in a lifetime celebration. This year the Festival will relocate from MOSI. Join the Villagers of Fittleworth and Queen Katherine Parr and her court as they invite one and all to the magical 16th Century European village featuring 4 stages of exciting entertainment including: musicians, magicians, jugglers and mimes. Over 100 artisans will fill the Festival marketplace to display and sell their handcrafted goods for a truly fabulous and endless shopping experience. Patrons will interact with memorable characters and enjoy full-contact live armored jousting, 6 theme weekends, and fabulous food fit for a king or queen!
