Viking Costume Contests: Show off your best Viking attire for a chance to win glory and prizes! Categories for both adults and children.

Viking Strength Challenges: Test your mettle in arm wrestling, wife carrying, stone throwing, and stein holding competitions. Only the mightiest will claim victory!

Tug of War: Gather your stout-hearted companions and compete in the ultimate test of strength and teamwork.

Fabulous Prizes Await:

First, second, and third place winners of each contest will be rewarded with treasures worthy of a Viking saga!

Shamrocks & Shenaningans at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival this weekend, March 16-17.

Participate in the costume contest and flaunt your royal & magical finery, or just enjoy the beauty of the village.

Saturday and Sunday (Mar 2-3) at the Bay Area Ren Fest, it’s a BARKbarian Brew Fest.

Join us for a furry adventure with your pouch pal and barbarian friends! Bring your furry friend to BARKbarian Brew Fest weekend and receive FREE admission for your dog. And get ready for tail-waggin’ contests for your canine companion. Not only are there activities for your dog, but also for you! Have a pawfect day!

The Bay Area Renaissance Festival Starts on Saturday, Feb 17 and every Saturday and Sunday through Mar 31. Huzzah!!! (The Festival for Sun. 2/18 has been cancelled due to flooding rains) The celebration continues next Sat and Sun.
